Very interesting and effective slide show. Speed on some slides were a little fast. Would have liked to see the research to back up the facts. Thanks, Josh, for sharing this with me. Kathy Knowlton
Interesting and graphical slides. Some were eye opening and made me think life is too short and we all take that for granted at times. Thank You Margaret H. P. Rivera
Margret, This presentation makes people think twice about how they live their life. It makes people realize what they do to their body is potentially fatal. It is eye opening for sure. I think that you did a great job of showing us that it is not only older people that are at risk, but young adults as well. Thank you for sharing this with us and having us reflect on our ways of living. John K.
I was intrigued by the number of young people that had died from cancer. I thought the slides were interesting as well as informative. Thanks Margret H. for bringing this to my attention.
Thank you Danielle Boyd for sharing this with me. I thought you all made your point, it was very informative and I hope it helps people. I did think the slides were a little fast though I did not get the oppotunity to read them all. Roxanne Boyd
Thank you Krystal for sharing this with me this is great work. people need this information so they can maybe make better choices. thank you again I will pass this on . Doug Allred
I guess what i should take from this is that I should perform self checks, I should go to the doctor, I should drink and smoke less for a longer life expectancy. This video has changed my life, because I didnt know I had a ton of the risk factors.
I really found this slide show quite interesting. I didn't know that drinking really had that big of an impact in oral cancer. Thanks Kendra for sharing this with me.
This was a very interesting slide show. It was really interesting seeing all the different types of cancer and the things that caused them. Such as over drinking tequila can give you oral cancer this makes me really not want to drink as much as I do now. Thanks Danielle Boyd for sharing this with me.
A health-related public service announcement is a short presentation which attempts to persuade the audience to take some specific action or adopt a favorable view towards some health service, issue, or cause.
Course Assignment
College students from Healthful Living course (HES100) or Principles of Fitness & Wellness (WED110) at Mesa Community College created various projects to relay health-related messages. This blog is a compilation of their work. (Programs used were JumpCut, Slideshare and Viddler.)
